Hey, I’m Kate!
In 2017 I competed in two bikini competitions with the Natural Muscle Association, which led me to become certified in Personal Training and Group Fitness, followed by Barre Intensity, Foam Rolling, Function Exercise, and Reiki I + II. Mindful movement and self care have formed me into who I am today, and I like to practice every day with the intent to find the very best version of myself, and I want the same for you too!
My hobbies are really the force driving me to evolve, my current obsessions being ballet and golf, respectively. I started golfing with a couple friends, and the more I work on my core and and rotation, of course- the better my game gets! Same for ballet, which is brand new to me. I never took ballet as a kid, only clogging as a 5th grader (very different). I never thought ballet would be the hardest thing I’ve ever done, but it absolutely is! This, pushing me even further in my strength and flexibility journey.
Kate Needs Fitness is a place for the whole picture – the food that keeps me feeling fueled and strong for each workout or round of golf, the recovery that is required to show up as my best each day, and the strength training that makes me feel like I can take on the world!
