I began an active lifestyle in high school with cross country and track, Pilates, and dance classes and continued running regularly through college. Now, at 36 years old, I can say the wellness/fitness obsession is real. In 2017 I competed in two bikini competitions with the Natural Muscle Association, then decided to become certified in Personal Training, and eventually also in Group Fitness, Barre, Foam Rolling, Function Exercise, and Reiki I + II. Mindful movement and self care have formed me into who I am today, and I like to practice every day with the intent to find the very best version of myself, and I want the same for you too!
I started this blog as a way to share the things that help me stay healthy, mentally and physically, no matter what is happening in my own life or in the world around us. I hope I can inspire someone to make small healthy changes, for themselves, so we can all become a thriving, happy society! I’m excited you’re here on this journey with me!
I have a ton of info on here about food sensitivity elimination, something I didn’t know was affecting me so much in my day to day life until I learned what foods were triggering me. Going forward, I’ll be sharing about the healthy habits I love and that make me feel like I can take on the world – through exercise, food, self care – yet are simple and don’t take a lot of time to accomplish – perfect for staying consistent.
